 3rd Brake Light

I wanted to add a little extra insurance against being rear-ended by adding a 3rd Brake Light.  I have visited junkyards numerous times looking for just the right set of lights to get off of a wreck -- but, no luck.  Finally, I found this nifty little item on eBay.  It's advertised as an "ultra bright 44 LED Center Stop Light".  I bought it from a seller known as Dave Riddle Company.    It cost about $30.00 including shipping.  It was a snap to install with just a couple of self tapping screws.  The Brake Light looks like this:

Its about 15 inches wide

It also has a sort of mounting bracket/panel (not shown) that doubles as a facia that actually covers the bottom of the light, giving it a smooth look once installed.

Once installed, it is barely noticable above the air cleaner.  Its fastened to sheet metal above the engine with 2 self tapping screws.

Turn out the lights and step on the brake and it makes an already traffic stopping car even more effective.
