 2010 - Progressive Dinner Run

This year's PDR on August 21st, was a huge success.  Many thanks to our gracious hosts, the Rynikers, the Ganns and the Ketchams.  You guys did a fantastic job of hosting and entertaining us.  We had about 30 participants and nobody went away hungry.

We started at Kevin and Llynne Ryniker's place and we filled up the driveway, the front lawn and some of the cul'de'sac.  And then, we filled up on appetizers.  There was a great spread of tasty treats and refreshing beverages.

We hung out in the peaceful back yard and caught up with all our friends and we met a couple of new ones, Loni and Virginia English.  It was a surprise to meet Loni and he brought along his silver/black GTS and a '67 Shelby GT350!

Matt slips his Pushbutton a sip of tequilla to ensure his cooling system remained happy!

Next, it was offto Bret and Judy Gann's place for our main course.

Dinner was traditional Mexican, carne asada, pollo asada, carnitas, tamales, rice, beans, etc.  And of course plenty of chips and guacamole made from fresh avacodos from the Gann's expansive grove of trees!

Looks like nobody wanted to sit with Marshall.  Oh well, all the more guacamole for him!

A little relaxing in the yard and a friendly game of hors shoes

You can't have a car club event without a little garage time, so we went out to check out Bret's latest toy, his formula ford racecar.  It's just about ready to go racing and all agreed that it looks like a ton of fun!

And last, but not least, our final stop for desert and more refreshing beverages, our after dinner hosts Ron and Carol Ketcham open their doors for a stunning finish to the evening.  Renee, Klaus and Dave soak in the breathtaking view from the deck.  We actually arrived just in time to witness a stunning sunset.

The city lights from the Ketcham's deck are dazzling.

And, as mentioned earlier: have garage will gravitate... This time it's an impromptu tech session down in the Garage Mahal to diagnose Ron's strange noise which prevented him from driving his Pantera this evening.  Nothing major.  Turns out that it's just the idler pulley falling apart, as these things will do.  We decided to leave the repair for another day.
